Start without an account

The Value Checker is the shortest route in. Upload one photo, get an estimated value range, no account needed. It is free, it runs in your browser, and it is currently available in English.

If you want the full result, signing in with Google or Apple unlocks it. Every new confirmed account starts with five free scans, and you can earn an extra scan by watching a short ad.

A clearer path to a scan

Creating a scan is a step-by-step flow: add several photos of the same object, review the summary, then pick your analysis depth — STANDARD or ULTIMATE.

The multiple-photo part matters. You can show the same piece from different angles without assembling a collage first, which is what the old workaround required. A full view, the reverse side and a sharp close-up of a hallmark give the analysis three genuinely different pieces of evidence.

Scans keep running in the background, so you can leave the screen and come back.

Your result is a starting point

Every result carries the metal your object most likely is, a confidence indicator, the reasoning behind it, an estimated purity and an estimated value range against current metal prices. Other possibilities the analysis weighed are shown alongside it.

From a finished scan to a listing

If you decide to sell, you can connect an eBay account and turn a finished scan into a ready-to-edit eBay listing, for eBay in the US, Germany, UK, France, Italy and Spain.

Check every detail against the actual object before you publish. A photo-based analysis is guidance — it does not establish a metal's purity and it is not an independent test.

A redesigned app, in both themes

Recent releases brought a new design system across the app, in light and dark, and it respects your Reduce Motion setting. The interface is available in eight languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Arabic, Hindi, Chinese (Simplified) and Afrikaans.

Less friction around your account

• Billing hub: your plan, scan credits, purchase history and restore options, all in your profile.
• Support hub: help through AI chat, with attachments and tickets, and an email when we reply or change a status.
• Clearer plans: the paywall makes the Beginner and Professional options, monthly or yearly, easier to compare.
• Newsletter: gold market notes and app updates, double opt-in, unsubscribe in one click.

Purchase restoration, paid-account recognition and the password-reset flow were all repaired along the way, and web purchases now work properly.
